Reporting a bug
To help me hunt it down fast, drop in:
- Your macOS version
- What you were doing when it happened (recording, transcribing, summarizing, exporting, etc.)
- Whether you're using the built-in on-device model or a connected provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama)
- Any error message shown in the app
Permissions
Minutesmith needs Microphone access to hear you, and Screen Recording permission to grab system audio from your meeting apps (audio only — no video, no screenshots of your screen). If a recording comes out silent or half-there, pop into System Settings → Privacy & Security and make sure both are switched on.
